Terms and conditions


GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Any booking made through this website or by telephone will be conditional upon and subject to the client acknowledgement and acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.

BOOKING

For a transfer service the client must communicate the flight/train/bus departure or arrival date and time. Booking is only accepted by application/ e-mail or telephone. Moving sprl will confirm (by e-mail or SMS) the details (pick-up time, car type, etc…).

When booking the client must supply a valid contact telephone number to be reached on departure or arrival day. Moving sprl will not be liable for any miscommunication .

Personal Information will be treated in compliance with European Directives 95/46 and 2002/58.

PICK-UP

On the basis of date and time details supplied by the client Moving sprl will assign a pick-up/drop off time, taking in consideration traffic conditions or, in case of group transfer, other client’s departure or arrival times . If a client booked a group transfer, his delay will not be tolerated unless the other members of the group accept to wait and the conditions allow it.

Moving sprl, however, will not be held responsible for any consequence caused by the delay. Waiting time might also be charged. Waiting fees not previously agreed will be charged by 40 € /hour. (HTVA).

PAYING CONDITIONS

Price includes transfer, taxes, fuel, parking fee and highway toll. The payment will be made directly to out account.

For group transfers down payment will be required within 24 hours from confirmation by Moving sprl by bank transfer:

In case of no-show or no cancellation within 48 hours from confirmation by Moving sprl, the client will be charged for the payment of the service and the eventual disruption caused to Moving sprl’s activity.

DELAYS
Moving sprl will not be responsible for any airline, train or bus schedule modification or for delays in luggage claims. In this case, Moving sprl will only guarantee the transfer if compatible with other client’s booking. A departure transfer will, in any case, be considered prioritary over an arrival transfer.

Moving sprl will not be held responsible for delays caused by accidents, traffic, strikes, road works, deviations, drivers sudden illness, unforeseen car troubles and any other unforeseeable occurence preventing or delaying the service. In case of “force majeure” the service will be suspended for the duration of such events, and if the circumstances cannot change in a reasonable time, the service will be cancelled by any party without charges for the client or the company.

Moving sprl is obbligate to wait a client in the aiport until 45minuts from arrival of a plane. Before this time if client call us and inform about his delay the driver can waite longer- waiting fees - 40 € /hour. (HTVA).

CANCELLATION

In case of adverse climatic conditions (snow, ice, fog, etc.) if optimal security cannot be guaranteed, Moving sprl might cancel the service without charging the client and the payments already done for that service will be refunded within 48 hours.
The client must communicate any cancellation or modification of the pick-up/drop off time at the latest 24 hours before the date of transfer in order to allow Moving sprl to modify, if possible, the booking. If the transfer has already been payed the client will be refunded within 48 hours.

For group bookings the cancellation must be done 15 days before the confirmed date of transfer and no fee will be applied. If Moving sprl has already sub-contracted the service and paid a preliminary down payment, this cost will be borne by the client.

For cancellations done 10 days before the confirmed transfer date, 50% of the total amount agreed at the confirmation will be debited to the client. For cancellations done less than 10 days before the agreed date of the transfer the client will be debited for the whole cost of the service originally booked and confirmed by Moving sprl.

LUGGAGE AND SPECIAL EQUIPEMENTS

Any further luggage, outsized luggage and special equipment (baby seats, baby carriages, wheel chair, sport equipment etc.) must be communicated when booking and will be subject to space availability in the vehicle.

DAMAGES

The passenger (s) shall be responsible for all damage caused due to an act of vandalism carried out on their part or as a consequence of an illness. If the damages prevent Moving sprl from using the vehicle for further services, the client responsible will be charged with all the transfers the company had to cancel due to the damage caused by the client.
Moving sprl reserves the right (and delegates to its drivers the right) to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passengers. Under these circumstances Moving sprl reserves the right to refuse any reimbursement and no alternative transfer service will be provided.

SUBCONTRACTING

Moving sprl uses its own vehicles for the services offered, but in case of technical problems or overbooking it might make use of other companies vehicles or services, without prejudice for the quality of the service supplied.

TRANSPORT OF PARCELS
Parcels will be transported under the sole responsability of the client as regarding the content, the conditions and the damages.

Dangerous and illegal substances are forbidden in luggage as well as on the passengers. The client is bound to respect this condition and is liable for all consequences in case of infringement. Moving sprl reserves the right to claim indemnisation for all damages.

The transport will be accepted only if parcels are picked-up or dropped off next to the car.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints must be sent within 5 working days after the transfer or transport, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.

LITIGATION AND COURT OF JURISDICTION

Litigations will be dealt with according to the Belgian jurisdiction, in application of Belgian law.
